SRI LANKA SCOUT ASSOCIATION – COLOMBO DISTRICT BRANCH PHASE I SCOUT MASTERS TRAINING COURSE
The first-ever online Phase I Introductory Scout Leaders Training Course for Scouts Section was held at a high note of success on 02nd and 03rd of October 2021, on zoom platform. The course was conducted by the Colombo District Training Team under the patronage of the National Training Team, District Commissioner and the ADC (Training). There was an overwhelming number of applications proving the necessity of such training at the grass-root level, and out of which the course participants were selected based on the eligibility criteria and representing most of the Scout Groups in Colombo District. All the participants expressed their highest appreciation for the initiative taken to adopt the traditional training environment into online sphere with a balanced combination of practical and theoretical approaches to the session content and delivery.
